Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to the Panchang mobile app and this website. By installing or using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About the app
Panchang is a Hindu almanac app made by Multi Code Genius (“we”, “us”). It shows daily panchang details such as tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, vara, sunrise and sunset, auspicious and inauspicious timings, Choghadiya, muhurats and festivals for a place you choose. The app is free to use and does not require an account.
2. For guidance only
All panchang values are calculated on your device using standard astronomical approximations and the Lahiri ayanamsa. Results may differ by several minutes, and occasionally by a day for a festival or vrat, from other panchangs, regional traditions or printed almanacs. Different traditions also follow different rules (for example Amanta or Purnimanta months).
The app is provided for general information, cultural and religious guidance. It is not professional, astrological, legal, medical or financial advice. For important ceremonies, events or decisions, please confirm dates and timings with a qualified priest or astrologer, or your family tradition.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app for any unlawful purpose;
- reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or present it as your own, except as allowed by law;
- misuse the city search, for example by sending automated or excessive requests to the OpenStreetMap service it relies on.
